You´re talking to a mother of one to the other children at your child´s daycare. You want to tell her something about the head teacher at the daycare. But you can´t remember the head teacher´s name.

Uhmm.... I¨m blanking on her name.

I´m blanking on (something)

Use the phrase "blanking on ..." to talk about forgetting something temporarily. You can blank on something like the name of a person or thing even when you usually know it well.

Here´s an example for talking about the name of an actress on TV show that you like:
I´m blanking on ther name of the actress. Who´s the one with red hear?

Ahora que conocemos la oracion simple, podemos empezar a profundizar sobre sus elementos.
Aqui los Pronombres en Ingles y Español:

Con esto podremos formar frases.
We play tennis. ==> Nosotros jugamos al tenis.

No importa si no entiendes las demas palabras por ahora solo asimila los pronombres del ingles.
* Si vemos en la tabla en la Conjugacion en 3º Persona Singular
he se utiliza para referirnos a personas masculinas (él)
she se utiliza para referirnos a personas femeninas (ella)
It se utiliza para referirnos a animales y objetos

* Tambien si nos fijamos en la 2º persona Singular y Plural encontraremos que es igual en el Ingles ("You". Esto hace que sea mas dificil de identificar por eso deberemos fijarnos en el contexto.

To pull up to something means to get closer to it in a car. For example: "you can pull up to:"

  • the front of a store
